Job title: Ventilation Engineer
Overview:
We are recruiting an experienced Ventilation Engineer to join a busy team delivering installation, maintenance and commissioning of domestic and light-commercial ventilation systems. The role involves working on MVHR, MEV and PIV systems across multiple sites, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Install, maintain MVHR, MEV and PIV systems to specification and industry standards
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and fault diagnosis
- Test, balance and commission ventilation systems and complete associated certification and paperwork
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, installation guidance and health & safety requirements
- Liaise with clients, site teams and other trades to coordinate works and handover systems
- Maintain accurate service records, job sheets and reports
- Contribute to continuous improvement and support training and mentoring where required
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of MVHR, MEV and PIV systems
- Certification or proven competency in domestic ventilation systems (BPEC Domestic Ventilation or similar highly regarded)
- Relevant NVQ or technical qualification in Ventilation, Plumbing, Building Services or equivalent is desired
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer-facing work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage workload and maintain documentation
- Valid UK driving licence preferred
