We're looking for a high‑calibre Senior Brand Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering a major premium European launch across the UK, France and Germany. This is a hands‑on, execution‑first contract role for someone who thrives in fast‑moving, high‑stakes environments. Acting as the day‑to‑day marketing lead, you'll ensure every element of the launch, brand, packaging, regulatory, retail and activation comes together seamlessly, on time and to an exceptional standard. If you enjoy cutting through complexity, making confident decisions and turning plans into reality, this is a standout opportunity to make a visible impact.
What Success Looks Like
- The UK, France and Germany are fully launch‑ready, artwork approved, packaging produced, retailer materials aligned and agencies briefed
- Key risks are surfaced early and resolved quickly
- Global brand direction is translated into practical, executable European delivery
- Local teams feel supported, focused and set up for success
Key Responsibilities
- End‑to‑End European Launch Readiness
- Own launch readiness across the UK, France and Germany, ensuring:
- SKUs and assortments are aligned
- Packaging and artwork are fully approved
- Regulatory sign‑offs are secured
- Retailer requirements are met
- Drive the critical path with tight, visible timelines
- Ensure cross‑functional dependencies are aligned, not siloed
- Packaging, Artwork & Regulatory Delivery (Core Focus)
- Lead marketing execution across:
- Multilingual pack decisions
- Front‑of‑pack language strategies
- Peel‑and‑read or accordion solutions where required
- Work closely with Regulatory, Packaging, Supply Chain and external partners to:
- Finalise copy and translations
- Lock artwork files
- Avoid last‑minute rework and launch delays
- Balance brand excellence with speed‑to‑market pragmatism
- Selective Retail Launch Support
- Partner with UK, France and Germany teams on retailer‑specific requirements, including:
- Sephora and Douglas expectations
- Space NK launch needs
- Ensure all assets, claims and visuals are retailer‑approved and delivered on time
- Act as a practical problem‑solver when brand standards meet commercial reality
- Marketing Activation & Agency Management
- Keep activation plans focused, agile and achievable, including:
- PR and influencer seeding
- Retailer‑led digital and in‑store campaigns
- Manage agencies against clear outputs and tight timelines
- Maintain a prestige, on‑brand execution, even under pressure
- Global‑Local Coordination
- Act as the daily bridge between global brand teams and UK, France and Germany markets
- Translate global direction into clear local actions
- Escalate issues quickly with solutions, not problems
- Stakeholder & Risk Management
- Maintain oversight of key launch risks, including timing, packaging feasibility and retailer alignment
- Provide senior stakeholders with clear updates, trade‑offs and next steps
- Bring calm, clarity and momentum to a high‑pressure launch phase
Ideal Contractor Profile
- Essential
- Senior brand or marketing professional with prestige beauty or fragrance experience
- Proven success delivering multi‑market European launches
- Strong hands‑on experience with packaging, artwork and regulatory‑adjacent execution
- Highly organised, decisive and delivery‑driven
- Desirable
- Experience working with Sephora and/or Douglas
- Previous interim or contract launch roles
- French or German language capability
Working Style
- Action‑oriented and pragmatic
- Confident making decisions with imperfect information
- Collaborative, calm and assertive
- Execution‑focused rather than process‑heavy
Why This Role Exists
