Job Title: Secretary (Conveyancing)Location: TenterdenJob Type: Full time/permanent (Office based)Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)We are excited to be supporting a well established business in their search for a Secretary, the role will be working in the conveyancing team and supporting a fee earner on a 1-2-1 basis. They have a fantastic reputation locally and many of the team have worked there for several years!Key Responsibilities:Provide full secretarial support to our conveyancing team, facilitating smooth transaction processes.Prepare and manage correspondence, legal documents, and forms related to residential and commercial conveyancing.Maintain and organise electronic and manual filing systems ensuring all paperwork is up to date and easily accessible.Liaise with clients, banks, estate agents, and other third parties to ensure timely progression of conveyancing transactions.Handle telephone enquiries, emails, and other communications with efficiency and professionalism.Assist in diary management, scheduling appointments, and supporting the conveyancing team in all administrative tasks.Conduct property searches, check property registration details, and manage pre-exchange and post-completion matters.Required Skills and Experience:Previous experience as a secretary in a conveyancing environment is essential.Proficiency in using conveyancing and legal case management software.Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.25 Days Holiday & Bank holidaysPrivate Health care (After 6 months of continuous employment)Discounted legal servicesSummer socials and Christmas black tie events #J-18808-Ljbffr
