We are currently recruiting for a highly organised and reliable Administrative Assistant to join our Eastbourne office. This is a varied and fast-paced role, supporting both clients and the internal professional team. The ideal candidate will be methodical, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm under pressure, with strong communication and IT skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing general administrative and secretarial support, including typing and preparing correspondence
- Uploading client documents and correspondence to internal systems (e.g. Openspace)
- Handling incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
- Chasing clients for information and arranging appointments
- Liaising with external bodies including HMRC
- Supporting new client onboarding processes, including:
- Client ID verification
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance
- Preparing Letters of Engagement
- Numerate (minimum GCSE Maths or equivalent)
- Previous relevant administrative experience required
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work methodically and maintain concentration
- Calm and professional approach under pressure
- Good communication skills
