A manufacturer supplying specialist technical equipment used in scientific and industrial environments is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to support day-to-day warehouse operations and help drive efficiency, accuracy, and team performance.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activity: goods in, put-away, picking/packing, dispatch and returns
- Lead, coach and motivate the small warehouse team to hit service, productivity and accuracy targets
- Use WMS/ERP to manage stock movements, allocate work, resolve issues and improve processes
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, compliance and Health & Safety across the warehouse
- Support stock control: cycle counts, investigations, reconciliations and inventory accuracy
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth order flow and on-time dispatch
- Monitor performance and support training/onboarding of new starters
What we're looking for
- Proven warehouse supervisory experience OR a senior warehouse operative ready to step up
- Experience using a WMS or ERP system and strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Outlook/Word)
- Confident communicator with a practical, calm approach in a fast-paced environment
- Organised, detail-focused and able to prioritise effectively
