Our client is looking for a Registered Manager - Children for their home based on the outskirts of Wrexham. As the Registered Manager - Children for this home, you will be making a real difference to the lives of the young people and children in the social care sector and managing a 3 bed EBD home for children between the ages of 8 and 18 years old.

You will be working Monday-Friday 9am til 5pm and will be dealing with OFSTED, making an outstanding contribution to the children and young people.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the home
  • Develop care plans
  • Have a Level 5 in Leadership and Management
  • Have a proven background in dealing with OFSTED inspections
  • Carry out activities with the children
  • Manage the home
  • Provide a safe environment for both the children and staff
  • Lead a team of Residential Support Workers
  • Attend professional meetings and prepare formal reports
