We\’re on the hunt for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our client\’s successful and quality-driven food production business in Margate. If you have experience in food manufacturing or a similar QA role, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards, this is the opportunity for you!

What You\’ll Be Doing

Role Purpose

Ensure materials meet safety, legal, and quality standards

Maintain bakery hygiene & GMP compliance

Ensure adherence to BRCGS & customer standards

Support operations and company KPIs

Foster a culture of continuous improvement & food safety

Health & Safety

Champion a \”Safety First\” culture

Promote zero harm and implement best practices

Quality & Compliance

Approve suppliers, ingredients, and packaging

Manage non-conformance\’s and maintain QA documentation

Conduct audits, GMP checks, and lab testing

Maintain QA records & traceability systems

Support third-party audits & compliance

Strategic & Tactical Goals

Monitor and report on KPIs

Strive for BRCGS \”Grade A\”

Keep the site audit-ready at all times

Contribute to cross-functional improvements

What You\’ll Bring

Proven QA/Quality experience in food manufacturing

Solid understanding of BRCGS & audit standards

Excellent communication & organisation

Proficient in MS Office & QA software systems
