We\’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Production Line Operator to join a new production site in, Dumfries. You\’ll start in late August to support setup, training, and initial operations ahead of a full launch later in the year.

This is a production role that involves operating and maintaining machinery, following strict hygiene procedures, and supporting a small team in getting things running smoothly from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery on the production line to meet daily output targets
  • Carry out product quality checks and record results accurately
  • Use a forklift to handle stock and materials (experience required)
  • Assist with troubleshooting and basic fault resolution on machines
  • Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene procedures
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of:
  • Machinery Work Instructions
  • Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs)
  • All production line equipment on site

What We\’re Looking For

  • Experience working on a production line (ideally in food or drink manufacturing)
  • Forklift licence or relevant experience operating forklifts
  • Basic mechanical aptitude – comfortable around machinery and technical tasks
  • A proactive attitude, with strong timekeeping and a keen eye for detail
  • Someone who\’s hands-on, dependable, and ready to get stuck in
  • £13.00 per hour (based on a 40-hour week)
  • £50 monthly attendance allowance
  • Free access to a holiday villa in the Canary Islands (after qualifying period)
