We\’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Production Line Operator to join a new production site in, Dumfries. You\’ll start in late August to support setup, training, and initial operations ahead of a full launch later in the year.
This is a production role that involves operating and maintaining machinery, following strict hygiene procedures, and supporting a small team in getting things running smoothly from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery on the production line to meet daily output targets
- Carry out product quality checks and record results accurately
- Use a forklift to handle stock and materials (experience required)
- Assist with troubleshooting and basic fault resolution on machines
- Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene procedures
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of:
- Machinery Work Instructions
- Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs)
- All production line equipment on site
What We\’re Looking For
- Experience working on a production line (ideally in food or drink manufacturing)
- Forklift licence or relevant experience operating forklifts
- Basic mechanical aptitude – comfortable around machinery and technical tasks
- A proactive attitude, with strong timekeeping and a keen eye for detail
- Someone who\’s hands-on, dependable, and ready to get stuck in
- £13.00 per hour (based on a 40-hour week)
- £50 monthly attendance allowance
- Free access to a holiday villa in the Canary Islands (after qualifying period)
