Production Operative in Precision Assembly – Door Lock Manufacturing Location: Carlisle Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Pay: £12.60 per hour Do you have great attention to detail and a steady hand? We\’re looking for a skilled and focused individual to join our production operative team in a hands-on role assembling high-quality door locks. About the Role: You\’ll be part of a small, dedicated team responsible for assembling precision components including cutting keys, fitting pins, and building lock barrels. This is delicate, detail-driven work – ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in getting things just right. What You\’ll Be Doing: Assembling cylinder door locks with precision and care Inserting tiny pins into lock barrels to exact specifications Cutting and fitting keys to match lock configurations Ensuring products meet strict quality standards Maintaining a clean and organised workstation Following safety and production procedures at all timesWhat We\’re Looking For: Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail Ability to work with small components accurately Patience and focus – this is precision work, not production line speed Previous experience in a similar assembly or fine motor skill role is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided A reliable team player with a can-do attitudeWhy Join Us?
