About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Civil Enforcement Supervisor to support a busy local council parking service. You will lead and supervise Civil Enforcement Officers, ensuring effective, compliant, and customer-focused parking enforcement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Civil Enforcement Officers (rotas, performance, appraisals)
- Handle complaints, FOIs, and prepare reports & legal notices
- Ensure health & safety compliance and complete risk assessments
- Oversee enforcement agents and vehicle compliance
- Support parking contracts (Ringo, Imperial, Flowbird, G4S)
- Arrange car park inspections and maintenance programmes
- Support incidents requiring Police reporting and Body Worn Camera processes
Essential Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience within parking enforcement or local authority services
- Subject to standard DBS Check
- Strong knowledge of parking legislation and traffic regulations
- Experience with Northgate, Imperial, Ringo & Google Suite
- Excellent communication and conflict-management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2 - Notice Processing for PCNs
- Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience
