Manufacturing Engineer – Opportunity for a junior Manufacturing Engineer to join this fast-growing high tech manufacturing company. You should have 1 year + post degree experience and demonstrable understanding of new product introduction (NPI) in a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include providing technical support in production, assisting with new machinery and process implementation, and collaborating on process improvements using Lean manufacturing techniques. Strong communication and project management skills are essential. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and problem-solving solutions in production. Assist in sourcing and implementing new machinery and monitoring its output. Review and improve production processes using Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques. Collaborate with various departments on improvement projects. Work with Engineering/Design departments and the Workshop Manager to review new products before production. Assist the Sales department in creating accurate production routing and support the Quality department in developing manufacturing documentation. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field. 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in introducing new processes and products. Strong communication skills, able to interact with both staff and management. Proactive and hands-on problem solver. Excellent project management skills, with strong organisational and planning abilities. Proficient in IT, with experience in Excel, Word, and MRP systems.
