We are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime, and upholding health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplinary background, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective engineering support to ensure all manufacturing areas operate efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safe working practices for yourself and colleagues in all plant and machinery operations.
- Execute planned maintenance schedules aimed at optimising plant operation and extending machine lifecycle.
- Maintain control of engineering stores to ensure cost-effective backup and smooth operational functionality.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance of all plant, machinery, and ancillary equipment during shifts.
- Follow Planned Preventive Maintenance schedules and undertake specific projects as directed by the Engineering Manager or other management.
Qualifications
- Relevant Engineering qualification Level 3 or above.
- Proven experience in machinery maintenance and repair within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial environment.
