New opportunity at this busy sheet metal fabrication company for someone to operate the Amada Laser Punch combination machine. You will produce high-quality components to drawing specifications and contribute to a safe, efficient workshop environment.
This role can be offered on a day, late or night shift, and the company has flexibility to adjust start and finish times to suit.
- Set up, program and operate Amada Laser Punch equipment for production runs
- Adjust machine parameters for material type and thickness
- Monitor production for quality; perform in-process inspections and final checks
- Carry out basic preventative maintenance and routine cleaning of machines
- Maintain accurate production records, timesheets and material usage logs
- Proven experience operating Amada Laser Punch machines
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and tooling
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and CNC programmes
- Competent in basic machine setup, tool changes and minor troubleshooting
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts
This is a permanent role with a starting salary dependent on experience and shift.
