My client is currently looking for a Service Manager to join their team to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Service Department and coordinate a team of skilled engineers across designated regions in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead and manage the service operations for mechanical handling equipment, ensuring efficient maintenance, repair, and customer support services.
  • The Service Manager will oversee a team of engineers/technicians, coordinate service schedules, and maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support in the planning and execution of engineer training and development.

Main Duties

  • Management of Engineering department and team.
  • Daily management of servicing and breakdowns.
  • Write up weekly/monthly service reports.
  • Monitor costs and revenue.
  • Deal with customer calls, queries, and relations.
  • Supply KPIs.
  • Attend in-house monthly departmental meetings.
