- Proven experience with surface finish measurement, such as Zygo, Alicona, Taylor Hobson.

- Experience with writing measurement programmes and process automation.
- Programming skills using Matlab, Python, and VBA.

You should have gained a degree in either metrology or a precision engineering discipline; those that hold an NPL dimensional measurement certificate would be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities include:
- To carry out dimensional and surface measurement according to design specifications.
- Producing detailed inspection reports, leading inspection methods, measurement processes, and continuous quality improvement.
- You must have experience supervising junior engineers.
