HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities, drive cost efficiencies, and build strong supplier relationships. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end sourcing, contracts, and supplier performance while ensuring compliance with policies and delivering value to the organisation.

The role:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives and deliver cost savings and service improvements.
  • Manage full procurement lifecycle: requisitioning, sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, purchase order management and supplier onboarding.
  • Lead supplier selection, performance management, risk assessment and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Negotiate favourable commercial terms, prices, and service levels while managing and mitigating supply chain risks.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier data; ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements and audit standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, legal, projects, and stakeholders) to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports, forecasts and KPIs to senior management; track savings and value delivered.
  • Implement and optimise procurement systems and processes, including procurement or ERP tools.

The candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a track record of delivering cost savings and value.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management and supplier lifecycle management.
  • Experience with sourcing strategies, tender management and supplier performance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to interpret spend data and market trends.
  • Relevant professional qualification in procurement/supply chain.
