CNC Turner and CNC Miller - Setter / Operator (Mazak or Fanuc) opportunities in this busy Aerospace Precision Engineering company. We're recruiting strong CNC Setter/Operators (Turning and Milling) for a rapidly expanding subcontract aerospace precision engineering company. This is a hands-on role for experienced machinists who can confidently set and run jobs to tight tolerances using Mazak (Mazatrol) or Fanuc controls. Programming experience is a bonus, but not essential. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes or Mills to produce precision components to engineering drawings/specifications Set tooling, offsets, and workholding; prove out and run jobs efficiently Make in-process adjustments to maintain tolerance and surface finish requirements Complete first-off, in-process and final inspection checks using measuring equipment Identify and troubleshoot tooling/machining issues and escalate where needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area Essential Experience / Skills Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Turning and/or Milling) in a precision manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of Mazak (Mazatrol) and/or Fanuc controls (essential) Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances Confident using measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, verniers, bore gauges) Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a quality-first mindset Good communication and teamwork Desirable (Bonus) CNC programming (online/offline) or the ability to edit/optimise programs Aerospace/precision engineering background This is a permanent job with a starting salary dependant on experience.
