Company Overview: Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Programmer / Operator due to continued growth to join their team.
Role Summary: You will be responsible for programming and operating HAAS CNC mills and lathes using ONE CNC CAD/CAM software, as well as operating an XYZ 3‑axis mill. The role also includes manual machining and toolmaker-type work on conventional machines.
Main Duties:
- Program and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes using ONECNC CAD/CAM.
- Set and operate an XYZ 3‑axis mill.
- Use manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders); toolmaker experience preferred.
- Work to engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
- Inspect parts using standard measuring equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven CNC programming and operating experience.
- ONECNC CAD/CAM experience (essential).
- Experience with HAAS machines and XYZ 3‑axis milling (desirable).
- Able to use manual machinery.
- Right to work in the UK.
