Location: Ellesmere Port
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:00pm | Friday 7:00am-1:00pm
The Role
We are recruiting for a machine operative to join the production team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating bagging and production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production and bagging machinery safely and efficiently.
Complete quality checks and production records.
Ensure products meet customer quality standards and GMP requirements.
Monitor machinery and report any faults or issues.
Follow production plans and help achieve targets.
Minimise waste and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Support continuous improvement activities. Skills & Experience
Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
Food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
Basic computer skills and good numeracy. Desirable
Food safety / HACCP knowledge.
