HRGO Recruitment is on the hunt for a Production Operative for our client based in Leeds. Our client is part of a global firm, manufacturing plastic packaging and supplying to a variety of major brands. We are looking for an experienced Production Operative who is logical and a real team player to ensure our client's fast paced production line goes smoothly.
Main Responsibilities of a Production Operative:
- Operate, maintain, and optimise EBM & Injection Moulding machines on-site
- Ensure execution of the production schedule
- Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment as required
- Carry out production changeovers and start-up processes
- Inspect finished products visually or via camera systems
- Conduct routine quality checks
- Follow company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work-space
Experience & Background:
- Must have experience in a fast paced production facility.
- Experience with injection moulding machines would be desirable, but not essential.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with tool changes and planned maintenance is a plus.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge is advantageous.
