Location: King's Lynn | Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive from £40,000, DOE | Overtime paid at time and a half

About the role:
Join a long-established, family-run engineering and manufacturing business designing bespoke food production equipment and stainless-steel processing systems. You'll take projects from concept through to manufacture, creating highly manufacturable designs and working closely with fabrication and production teams.
Responsibilities:
- Create 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks; produce detailed manufacturing drawings
- Design conveyors, chutes, guarding, frames and processing equipment for food environments
- Apply DFM for stainless steel fabrication, machining and assembly
- Work with production to optimise manufacturability and support continuous improvement
About you:
- Experience as a Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer in food machinery / food equipment / processing machinery
- Strong SolidWorks and CAD skills (3D modelling)
- Knowledge of stainless-steel equipment, sheet metal and hygienic design
- Confident communicator who works well with manufacturing teams
