We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced logistics operation on a steady day shift. This is a hands-on role involving forklift driving, freight handling, and warehouse coordination within a busy and supportive team environment. You will play a key role in ensuring all freight is accurately checked, processed, and loaded on time while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Job Duties

  • Driving counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading box and curtain-sided trailers
  • Checking, preparing, and processing freight for dispatch
  • Receiving and checking in freight using unloading lists
  • Using computer systems to print labels, overpacks, and confirm quantities
  • Picking and assembling shipments accurately
  • Working closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
  • Following ADR / Dangerous Goods awareness procedures and Health Safety standards

What We're Looking For

  • Valid external FLT Counterbalance licence
  • Previous warehouse / logistics experience
  • Confident forklift operator with good safety awareness
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
