We're looking for an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer to support site delivery on construction projects. This role is focused on overseeing electrical installations, ensuring compliance, safety and timely delivery through to testing and commissioning.
Key duties:
- Manage and inspect electrical installations on site through to testing and commissioning
- Review drawings/specifications and coordinate with contractors and other trades
- Carry out quality checks, snagging and ensure compliance with regulations
- Produce site documentation (as-builts, test certs, commissioning records)
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and support project teams with technical queries
Requirements:
- Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 3-6 years' construction-based electrical engineering experience
- Strong site experience with LV systems, lighting, switchgear and earthing
- Knowledge of wiring regulations and building standards
- Good communication and practical problem-solving skills
- CSCS (or equivalent); driving licence preferred
Desirable:
- AutoCAD/Revit experience
- HV, plant room or industrial electrical exposure
- Familiarity with testing and commissioning equipment
