We are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in picking, packing, stock control and loading who are looking for steady hours and potential progression.
Key responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders accurately and to schedule
- Carry out stock control tasks, including counting, recording and reporting discrepancies
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Skills and experience required
- Proven experience in picking, packing, stock control and loading
- Forklift skills desirable; forklift licence not essential (training may be available)
- Good attention to detail and numeracy
- Ability to work physically and lift/move goods safely
- Strong team player with a reliable, punctual approach

Candidates must have proven experience within a warehouse role. Ideally some forklift experience with either external licences or in-house training. Please note this will start as a temporary role, full time hours working from 6am starts. After successful probation the role will transfer to a permanent contract.
