We're looking for an experienced CNC Operative to join a precision engineering team. You'll set up, operate and monitor CNC to produce quality components to engineering drawings and production targets.
Salary: DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Set up, run and monitor CNC machines
- Load materials, change tooling/fixtures
- Perform first-off and in-process inspections (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Maintain production records and job cards
- Report quality issues and support continuous improvement
- Follow all H&S and quality procedures
Essential Requirements:
- Able to read engineering drawings
- 2+ years machining experience
- Hands-on CNC operation and basic setup skills
- Competent with measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and good time management
Desirable:
- CNC or conversational programming
- Knowledge of tooling, feeds and speeds
- Experience with ISO quality standards
