IT Support - 1st and 2nd line support at this large successful complex, fast moving and expanding group of businesses. You will take ownership of the IT Systems, troubleshooting and improving systems in this sales and finance focused environment, utilising and coordinating external support where required.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the following:

  • security platforms
  • LAN & WAN
  • cloud software

We need a confident, competent IT specialist capable of working in an often-pressured environment who is comfortable providing remote/on site weekend emergency support as the business is also open 7 days a week. The role offers excellent support and autonomy, strong technical budgets and a great team atmosphere working in a contemporary and luxurious environment.

You will provide hands-on support and take charge of critical IT projects, working in an environment that values your expertise and implements your ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance IT processes and systems.
  • Configure and set up workstations (desktops, laptops, mobile devices) for new and existing staff.
  • Lead and manage IT projects, including software roll-outs, system upgrades, and security enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain and secure local networks, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Train and support employees on new software, facilitating smooth transitions and adherence to best practices.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to managing and improving IT systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Ubiquity networks, VMware, and cyber security.
  • Knowledge of network management, virtualisation, and intranet systems.

This is a permanent job with a starting salary dependant on experience. You must have current UK right to work to be considered.
