Key Responsibilities Legal Expertise: Provide practical advice on a broad range of legal matters, including contracts, litigation, consumer law, and property issues. Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements to align with business objectives and mitigate risks. Dispute Resolution: Manage consumer disputes and oversee civil litigation cases from start to resolution. Compliance Leadership: Partner with Compliance and HR teams to uphold governance and maintain high operational standards. Strategic Negotiation: Work with lenders and external stakeholders to negotiate favourable terms and resolve complex issues. Team Empowerment: Deliver training sessions to equip teams with the knowledge to navigate legal challenges. External Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with external legal providers to ensure cost-effective support. Regulatory Excellence: Contribute to FCA reporting and regulatory submissions, collaborating closely with internal departments. About You A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, or consumer law. A proactive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and external partners.
