A well-established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Materials Handler to join its production team. With continued expansion and increasing demand, this role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and tooling across the site. This position would suit someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. While injection moulding experience would be beneficial, full training can be provided. A valid counterbalance forklift licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining organised storage areas for tooling, raw materials, and finished goods
- Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries
- Transporting mould tools to and from production machines as required
- Supplying raw materials to support ongoing production
- Ensuring packaging and ancillary components are available at machine level
- Supporting production teams with all required materials
- Operating equipment such as counterbalance forklifts, pallet trucks, and manual handling tools
- Assisting with deliveries to customers when required
About You
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (manual)
- Confident using basic IT systems
- Experience working within quality-controlled or ISO environments is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
