Location: Burton-on-Trent

Hours: Monday-Friday | Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £29,000 p/a DOE

At a glance: Great step-up role for an experienced HR administrator/assistant looking for more responsibility. You will be the first point of contact for HR queries across company subsidiaries, supporting managers with employee relations, training, and recruitment activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as first-line contact for ER, policy and contractual queries.
  • Support and coach managers through investigations and formal HR processes.
  • Maintain and update the Skills Matrix and time & attendance system.
  • Produce and interpret HR data, highlighting issues and proposing actions.
  • Manage and support recruitment administrators and recruitment projects.
  • Help coordinate and promote appraisals, performance reviews and HR training.
  • Contribute to HR and operational projects as needed.

Essential skills & experience:

  • Experience in an HR Administrator/Assistant/Co-ordinator role.
  • Confident advising managers on HR procedures and basic ER issues.
  • Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.
  • Competent user of HR systems and MS Office.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving licence - required (multi-site role).
