HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Forklift driver to join our client's team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will hold a valid forklift license and be responsible for safely loading and unloading lorries, operating a forklift to move goods, and organising stock to ensure efficient site operations.
Main responsibilities:
- To maintain the highest level of housekeeping in the Yard and Warehouse ensuring that:
- The Yard area is always kept organised
- Vehicles are loaded/unloaded, safely, correctly and on time
- Products/deliveries are clearly marked and identified with the correct paperwork
- Products have been picked and packed accurately as appropriate
- Stock management and rotation is completed in line with Company Policy
- Stock placement and movements are correctly recorded on the system
Requirements:
- Full valid FLT is required
- At least 1 year's experience working in a similar role within a logistics environment
- Counterbalance licence is desirable but not essential
- Driving licence is desirable but not essential
- Ability to operate computer-based stock management systems
- Demonstrable knowledge of handling and packing materials safely, to agreed procedures and keeping the workplace clean and tidy following health and safety processes
- Ability to retain knowledge of extensive product range, to accurately interpret product order paperwork
- Experience of accurate picking, packing and loading and preparation of goods for delivery
- A team player with the ability to work on their own initiative
25 days holiday per year + your birthday off + bank holidays. The company matches pension contribution up to 10%.
