We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role for someone with a valid counterbalance licence who takes pride in safe, accurate and efficient work.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate counterbalance forklift to load, unload and move goods safely
- Receive, check and stow incoming deliveries
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Carry out stock rotations and basic inventory checks
- Maintain accurate records using handheld scanners / warehouse systems
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised and comply with health & safety procedures
- Assist with ad-hoc warehouse tasks as required
Skills and experience required:
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Good attention to detail and basic numeracy
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to manually handle loads (typically up to 25kg)
- Reliable, punctual and flexible with working hours
Hours and package:
- Full-time role; day shift with some flexibility required (occasional overtime possible)
- Competitive hourly rate paid weekly
- Temporary-to-permanent opportunities available for the right candidate
