Job Description:
As a Garden Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of gardens to the highest standard. Your green fingers and keen eye for detail will contribute to creating picturesque environments for our clients. This role involves a mix of routine maintenance and innovative gardening projects, making each day unique and rewarding. You will be working all around the Kent areas.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am starts – and are usually 8 hour days.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform regular garden maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, weeding, and planting.
  2. Ensure the health and vitality of plants through proper care and attention.
  3. Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
  4. Assist in the landscaping and design of garden spaces as required.
  5. Work collaboratively within a team to meet project deadlines and company standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in garden maintenance or a related field.
  2. Strong knowledge of horticultural practices and plant species.
  3. Ability to operate a variety of gardening tools and machinery.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  5. Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor tasks outdoors.
  6. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  7. A valid driver\’s license is preferred but not essential.
