We are seeking a candidate who is experienced in servicing and fault finding on JCB and Manitou Fork Lift Trucks.
Duties include:
- Repairing and maintaining various types of JCB and Manitou machinery.
- Keeping accurate records of repairs and servicing.
- Diagnosing and repairing problems with the FLTs, including fault finding and diagnostics on diesel, LPG, and electric equipment, ensuring the machinery operates to a high standard in alignment with the manufacturers' specifications and is safe to use.
- Working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Collaborating with service and workshop managers to ensure timelines are met.
Candidates need to be:
- Time served forklift, plant, or materials handling engineers.
- Possessing strong fault-finding and diagnostic engineer experience.
- Having a good working knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and control systems.
- Experienced in working on counterbalance, reach trucks, and other MHE.
- Possessing a Full UK driving licence (Company van is provided for company use only).
- Well organised, reliable, and professional.
- Hands-on, with a practical approach to problem solving.
You will be able to communicate with a wide range of customers on various sites. This role involves travelling to different locations across the North, so flexibility is required. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 17.00pm (45 hour week). Overtime is based on £27.00 per hour.
