Job Description

Electrical Engineer

Location: Flintshire

Salary: Β£55,798 per annum + Bonus + Overtime

Hours: Full-Time | Permanent | 12-hour rotating shifts

We're looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Flintshire. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, installations, and continuous improvement to ensure maximum plant reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on Siemens PLC-controlled equipment (S7/TIA Portal).
  • Work on automation systems, VSDs, sensors, HMIs and control panels.
  • Install, modify and commission electrical equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement and minimise production downtime.
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety and electrical standards.

About You

  • Experience fault-finding on Siemens PLCs (S7/TIA Portal).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Able to read electrical schematics and use CMMS systems.
