Factory Labourer & Van Driver – Reliable and dedicated factory labourer and van driver required for this growing precision engineering company.
This is a varied role with approx. 70% of your time spent assisting in the factory, cutting metal, keeping areas tidy, basic facilities maintenance, packaging and dispatch of parts, etc. and the remaining time picking up and delivering parts across the UK.
We need a dependable, positive, hard worker with a \”can do\” attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
– Drive company van for local deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
– Perform routine maintenance around factory.
– Assist with the packaging and dispatch of parts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
– Maintain cleanliness of the factory floor with sweeping and general housekeeping duties.
Skills & Experience Required:
– Proven experience in van driving with a clean driving record.
– Basic maintenance skills for troubleshooting and repair tasks within the factory.
– Experience in packaging and dispatch operations is highly desirable.
– Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
