Steel Erectors in Essex

Steel erectors/site fitters required for construction metalwork projects based at Stansted airport Duration: Long-term, Pay Rate: £26 per hour (CIS – Umbrella), Hours: 45+ per week Responsibilities: Safely install and bolt structural steel components. Work at heights in compliance with site safety standards. Interpret construction plans and drawings. Operate heavy machinery and equipment, such as cranes and hoists. Ensure all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with other construction trades and team members. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on-site. Conduct quality control checks and troubleshoot installation issues as they arise. Required Skills and Experience: Right to work in the UK. Ability to pass airport security checks. Experience in steel erection. Valid CSCS card (Blue). IPAF/CPCS certification (preferred). Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.
