The Role
- Diagnose and support engineering breakdowns
- Maintain, repair, and improve plant equipment and services in line with the preventive maintenance schedule
- Install new machinery and equipment
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives during planned downtime
- Raise requests for spares and consumables
- Meet key performance targets, including downtime reduction, work order completion, and equipment availability
- Support and contribute to the preventive maintenance strategy
- Carry out predictive, preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance
- Maintain accurate records and report on completed work
The Candidate
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Time-served multi-skilled maintenance engineer (ONC/HNC or equivalent)
- 17th or 18th Edition qualified
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with high-speed production equipment
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
