HRGO Recruitment is currently supporting a client in the search for an Inventory Planner to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract, within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for overseeing inventory levels across finished goods, raw materials, and packaging to support customer demand. You'll coordinate inbound supply from international partners and help ensure stock is positioned efficiently across multiple distribution locations.
The role:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align inventory with forecasts and operational plans
- Oversee stock movements between regional distribution centres
- Create and manage purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and support invoice reconciliation
- Work alongside warehouse teams to manage intake priorities
- Support stock audits and resolve discrepancies where required
- Coordinate inbound shipments to maintain consistent stock availability
The candidate:
- Strong analytical capability, with confidence using spreadsheet tools
- Previous experience in inventory planning or a related supply chain role
- Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems
- Able to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally
