Opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join this skilled team in the aviation Workshop. This position involves the testing, repairing, and overhauling of a range of electrical aviation components, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
You will be working as part of this skilled team servicing and repairing a wide range of aircraft electrical components. You will be familiar with working for a Part 145 regulated organisation and should have a background in electrical aviation.
The role requires the ability to understand manufacturers instructions and manuals, writing reports and working well with all internal departments to ensure the customers needs are always met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out testing, repairs, and overhauls of various electrical aviation components following original manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
- Create and maintain a legally compliant and safe working environment.
- Prepare comprehensive workshop reports and material reviews to support the purchasing and commercial teams in preparing customer estimates.
- Contribute to the development of new capabilities and research cost-saving measures as well as improvements in turnaround times.
- Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Understand and prioritise customer requirements, consistently striving to exceed their expectations.
Qualifications Required:
- Strong knowledge of maintenance, repair, and overhaul practices for aircraft components in line with EASA Pt 145 regulations.
- Relevant experience in an electrical aviation setting is essential, with a preference for candidates who have held similar roles in the past.
