About the Role: We are delighted to be once again recruiting exclusively for our Ashford based client. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects involving industrial machinery, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations, they are a fantastic company with great values!
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and assembly of electrical control panels from components, their subsequent installation and integration onto machinery.
- Electrical and electro-pneumatic assembly and testing of machinery including fault finding and PLC control set up.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, work closely with Design Engineers to develop new designs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless operation of machinery.
- Apply expertise in pneumatics and electro-pneumatics to troubleshoot and optimise machinery performance.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with BS EN 60204 Part 1 (Electrical Safety of Machinery) or equivalent specifications.
Qualifications
- A minimum of Level 4/HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in working with industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in interpreting and understanding technical drawings.
- Solid experience in handling pneumatics and electro-pneumatics systems.
- Knowledge of BS EN 60204 Part 1 or equivalent electrical safety standards is essential.
