Overview
HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client\’s team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who is ready to embark on a rewarding career.
Please be aware that, due to insurance regulations, our client is unable to provide coverage for individuals under the age of 25 on company vehicles.
Details
- Working Hours: 45 hours per week usually 5am – 3pm or 6am to 4pm
- Job type: Full time, Permanent
Main Duties
- Regular scheduled deliveries to the company\’s wholesale customer base (Average. 12 – 15 drops per day)
- Goods Vehicle Operation / Delivery Driving / FLT Operation
- Occasional picking and packing of orders to the demands of the customer
- Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles and making timely and accurate customer deliveries
- To operate safely within a Warehouse/Fleet environment
- This role consists of typically early morning starts with occasional overnight work required
Requirements
- At least 3 year\’s experience in a similar Driver Class 2 role
- Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the role.
- The ability to work within the given time frames ensuring that customer demands are met.
- Physical and mental aptitude for manual / mechanical work
- Previous similar experience working in a similar role
- Ability to use IT databases / keyboard skills
- Forklift Truck Licence / Experience (Training will be provided)
- Clean UK driving licence / Class 2
- 25 days holiday per year + your birthday off
- The company matches pension contribution up to 10%
