We are seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to lead and develop Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering a robust integrated management system, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, driving continuous improvement and maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 certification standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and maintain the integrated QHSE management system across manufacturing operations.
- Plan, implement and manage programmes to achieve and sustain ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 compliance; coordinate certification and external audits.
- Conduct and oversee internal audits, management reviews, risk assessments, site inspections and corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances; implement root cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Develop and deliver training, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns to embed QHSE culture across the business.
- Monitor and report QHSE performance using KPIs, producing regular management reports and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance and maintain up-to-date documentation and records.
- Support product quality assurance activities, supplier quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, certification bodies and external stakeholders as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental functions within a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant H&S qualifications.
- Direct experience of implementing and maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques.
- Prior experience conducting and leading internal and external audits.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Competent in developing procedures, policies and training materials; strong IT literacy for reporting and document control.
