About the role
We are recruiting reliable Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution team. You will be responsible for picking, packing, loading and general warehouse duties to ensure goods move through the operation efficiently and safely.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, unload and store incoming stock
- Pick and pack orders accurately and prepare them for dispatch
- Carry out manual handling tasks safely and follow handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Use basic computer systems to record stock movements, update records and process paperwork
- Assist with stock counts and reporting discrepancies
- Work to health & safety and quality standards at all times
Essential skills and experience
- Previous warehouse experience
- Competent in manual handling techniques and physically able to perform lifting and repetitive tasks
- Basic computer skills, comfortable using terminals & warehouse software
- Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
