Job Title: Production Operative Summary: Hands-on production role manufacturing paste and powder products to set formulations for customer orders and stock, where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm (24 hours initially increasing to 40 hours) Pay: £13-13.75 per hour Location: Crewe Key Responsibilities Accurately weigh and measure ingredients to specified formulations/tolerances Prepare, mix and blend powder mixes and paste formulations in line with work instructions Follow batch records, production schedules and SOPs to ensure consistent output Monitor quality during production and report any deviations or issues promptly Complete production paperwork accurately (e.g., batch sheets, checks, traceability records) Maintain a clean, organised work area to required hygiene and Health & Safety standards Handle materials safely and use equipment correctly, reporting defects/faults Work independently to meet daily targets and deadlines while maintaining accuracy Support continuous improvement by suggesting better ways of working where appropriate Person Specification (About You) Essential Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment (mixing preferred) Confident weighing ingredients and following recipes, formulas, or batch instructions Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance Able to work independently and take ownership of workload Organised, proactive, and comfortable with repetitive tasks Desirable Health & Safety training/qualification Experience in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, feed, supplement, or similar manufacturing If you are interested in this role, please call HRGO for an immediate interview on (phone number removed) and register on our website
