Corporate and private jet MRO have an opportunity for a highly qualified and experienced Safety, Quality and Compliance Manager (form 4 holder) to play a pivotal role in the organisation's commitment to aviation safety and regulatory compliance. This strategic position will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the companies Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) within the aircraft maintenance environment. n.b. Hybrid options possible with this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership of QMS: Lead the oversight and effectiveness of the Quality Management System, ensuring rigorous compliance with industry regulations and standards through regular audits and assessments.
- Management of Non-Conformity's: Identify, document, and manage non-conformity's, implementing corrective actions and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence.
- Development of In-House Processes: Design and implement comprehensive quality assurance processes tailored to meet the specific needs of the organisation, including the training and competency assessment of certifying personnel.
- Safety Management Facilitation: Spearhead hazard identification and risk assessment initiatives, ensuring robust implementation of safety management processes and adherence to aviation safety standards.
- Regulatory Liaison: Maintain proactive communications with regulatory authorities to ensure ongoing compliance with all aviation regulations and practices.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of current airworthiness regulations, including Part-145 and IBAC/IS-BAH standards.
- Proven experience as a qualified auditor, with recognised training in auditing techniques and methodologies.
- Exceptional organisational, analytical, and leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Quality/Safety Management Software applications.
- Possession of a valid Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) is preferred.
