CNC Turners and Millers, (Setter/operators), opportunities on day or late shifts with this large and expanding Aerospace & Defence precision parts manufacturer. These stable permanent jobs are working on a range of CNC Mills and Lathes and offer training on programming where required to develop you into a full programmer/setter/operator. You will set and operate the CNC Mills or Lathes, programming offsets and conducting first off and general inspection to ensure the parts meet specifications. As a key part of the team, you will understand engineering drawings and be able to use your experience to troubleshoot various machining situations. The company is a large established engineering company with a range of long-term military and civil manufacturing contracts, and they have an enviable record of long-term employment across their workforce.
