Key Responsibilities:
- As a Childrens Residential Support Worker you will be assisting young people in all aspects of daily life, including school preparation, meals, and social activities.
- Document care activities accurately to maintain high standards in care delivery.
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams, ensuring a holistic approach to support.
- Foster life skills and promote emotional and social development for a rewarding group living experience.
What We\’re Looking For:
- A caring individual who can create a safe and nurturing environment.
- Willingness to undertake a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Working with Children within 2 years of employment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A full manual driving licence is essential.
- To complete 24 hour shifts either on a 2 on and 2 off rota (other working patterns are available)
- Experience in the caring profession or knowledge of safeguarding practices.
- Experience as a Childrens Residential Support Worker although not essential as full training will be giving
- Understanding the impact of trauma on children and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
