This is a temporary role.

HRGO Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Multi-Skilled Forklift Driver / 3.5 tonne Driver / Warehouse Operative / Handyman for our well-established client based in Canvey Island.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, team-focused environment where no two days are the same.

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of duties including counterbalance and reach forklift operation, 3.5 tonne lorry driving and deliveries, warehouse responsibilities, stock handling, general site maintenance, and basic handyman tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate counterbalance/reach Forklift.
  • Putting orders together in the Warehouse.
  • Metal Cutting.
  • Using guidelines to build items.
  • General organisation and tidying of warehouse.
  • Driving of 3.5 tonne lorry - typically 2-5+ deliveries a week.
  • Assisting with stock control.

Requirements

  • Full clean UK drivers license - min. 6 points, no DD or DDR's.
  • Valid counterbalance and reach Forklift licence. (no in house licenses)
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to follow guidelines and work independently.
  • Hands-on, organised individual open to picking up new tasks to support the wider team.
