Kickstart Your Engineering Career - We are looking to recruit a Trainee Field Service Engineer (Electro-Mechanical) to join a leading UK distributor of specialist test equipment for the food, medical, and pharmaceutical sectors. Your training will include learning how to service, calibrate, and repair electro-mechanical systems, including gas analysers and leak detection equipment. Initially you'll work from our Clients South Cambridgeshire Service Centre and as you progress with your training you will start travel to customer sites across the UK & Northern Ireland. Once trained your working week will be split with working at the Service Centre and field work traveling to customer site. Full training, company van, tools, and great benefits provided. Applicants must live close enough to comfortably commute daily to the Service Centre, which is situated in the Duxford - South Cambridge region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn to service, calibrate, and repair electro-mechanical test equipment
- Assist with field service visits across the UK & Northern Ireland
- Support workshop-based repairs and maintenance
- Deliver professional, customer-focused technical support
Requirements:
- Strong interest in engineering and technology
- Basic mechanical/electronic/electrical knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
- Clear communication skills and willingness to learn
