CAD Layout Designer

Duties of this role are :_

• To process drawings through Layout and to produce detailed manufacturing drawings
• You will be required to draw the component sheet metal parts
• To program and nest the parts for punching to utilise the least amount of materials
• To work with R & D on continuous improvement projects

Candidates must have a good working knowledge of Autocad and Solidworks, you will also have a good knowledge of CNC punch programming and the Brake press process.

Ideally candidates will have a knowledge of operating / programming CNC machines. You will have experience of working with Solidworks and 3D modelling and have a previous manufacturing experience within the sheet metal work environment.
